Auden Schendler is Vice President of Sustainability at Aspen Skiing Company and board chair of Protect Our Winters. A writer, speaker and activist, he works on scale solutions to climate change, and has published widely on both his successes and failures in that battle.
Previously at Rocky Mountain Institute, Auden was named a global warming innovator by Time magazine, a “climate saver” by the EPA, and has testified to Congress on the impacts of climate change. His book, Getting Green Done, was called “an antidote to greenwash” by NASA climatologist James Hansen.
Auden lives in Basalt, Colorado with his wife Ellen and their children Willa and Elias, who call him "a goofy global warming guy."
